Silence and Seashells

Silence and Seashells

A Poem by Natasha Ashway

Down in the water

deep in the blue

Bury all of my thoughts

with you

Silence and seashells

valleys of wet

You give my solace

make me forget

Dance of the absent

peace of the lost

Timeless, immortal

safe from the frost

Up above where wind blows

leaves off trees and this sound

Of loss wails in places

that will not be found.
