Three million two hundred thousand and one

Three million two hundred thousand and one

A Poem by RnL

I went to all your favorite places

I went over there....and then on to there....

But all your pictures had different faces

That's when I decided to start counting your paces

You said you'd be back for me

I waited there...right there...

You couldn't imagine the things I had to see

Before I decided to get up and leave.

Three million two hundred thousand and one

I stepped that many.....and then one more....

So many people but you were none

Until I saw your red cloak and I reached out for it...you...won.

You said you'd be back for me

I waited there...right there...

You couldn't imagine the things I had to see

Before I decided to get up and leave.

It was then I realized where you had gone

I contemplated yes....I contemplated no...

A place so familiar to me and all the while wrong

That's when I knew the only thing left to do was write this song.

About how you said you'd be back for me

I waited here...right here....

You couldn't imagine the things I had to see

Before I decided to get up and leave.

Little did I know....I was the first to really go....I'm the one that said I'd be back.

And then when I didn't show.....you decided to go and began to look for me.....in all my favorite places.

All those steps took a toll....and then you heard me contemplate no......and said...

You'd be back for me

I waited there....right there....

You couldn't imagine the things I had to see

And then you decided to get up and look for me.

I went to all your favorite places

But all your pictures had different faces

Three million two hundred thousand and one
