Between you and I

Between you and I

A Poem by Arianna
"

For my husband.

"

Between you and I

there is something

something I can't yet describe

its a pumping of hearts

a flashing of smiles

a rush of emotions

its a bang

a pow

a crash

its a chance at heartbreak

that I am one hundred percent

okay with taking

Between you and I

is a story

a million words

dancing across the page

a happily ever after

married with a

to be continued

that is still a million miles

from a fairy tale

Between you and I

is a world

a world filled with color,

with Sunday morning cuddles

and playing footsie

at tables filled with relatives

a world filled with

goofy grins

sloppy kisses

and breakfast in bed

Between you and I

there is nothing

hand to hand

lip to lip

chest to chest

there is nothing

and everything

everything under the sun

everything a million words

couldn't begin to describe

there are midnight snacks

and singing along to our favorite songs

dancing in the rain

and hiding under the covers

when its just too cold outside

 there is love

and lust

and friendship

there are promises

inside jokes

laughter and tears

there is so much more

than I could ever say

Between you and I

A very sweet poem about your husband. He must be cool for you to love him so much.
(And this is the only thing you have posted that is recent....)
