Game Over.

Game Over.

A Poem by Vanessa

As you awaken,

you notice something has changed.

My stuff is packed,

standing by the front door.

You rub your eyes,

thinking, 'Is this really happening?'

You think of our memories.

You realize you don't want me to go.

As you step closer,

I move farther away.

You try running,

quickly reaching out.

The door shuts,

I take a glance back,

catching one last longing glance.

Finally the door slams on your hand,

you begin to think of the pain and

how much damage has been done.

You let go,

I moved on.

End of story,

your game is over.
