Rain

Thought of this right on the spot when I heard some rain on my window

Rain, rain on the window pane dripping away 

The sound is absolutely driving me insane 

Rain, rain go away I dont want to come and play

It really is a major pain 

Rain, rain will you ever learn?

Sometimes you rain to much and other very little

Can't you find the middle?

When will the sun have a turn?

Starts out clear as day

Clouds here and there 

Then you hear the weather channel say

Its going to storm today

Another down pour of rain galore

Streams become lakes 

Lakes become rivers 

Rivers become oceans

I feel like I needs Noah's arch

I need to get my animals two by two

Oh, Great!

I have water in my shoe

Rain, Rain will you come another day?

It's not that I don't ever need you 

For that you can be sure

Just come back when we need actually need more

The fourth and fifth stanzas were my favorites! Very good imagery where you explained how various bodies of water can grow into eachother, and the part where you were unpleasantly surprised about the water in your shoe was another classic :) very well done!

I absolutely love rain , and I cannot get enough of it. Just not Thunder and Lighting.... I think when you say "I feel like I needs Noah's arch" would it be better if it is just 'need?' Nice writing :)

I like the description of a rainy day. Rain is needed. Too much rain can leave us locked in.
