Drunken Night (Tanka #11)

A Poem by MandaBear

Tanka #11 Inspired by a contest I saw. Enjoy

Full glass of troubles
Finding a warm seat at the bar
Drunken right ahead
 Drinking all the cares away
Slurring words and troubles gone

This was awesome. I love beer and all that, but I haven't drank that much since I turned 21 years old. I enjoyed this read though. It was great. I mean people are all different when they are drunk too. My friend when he drinks hard liquors he's an angry drunk. When he drinks beer he is a happy drunk. I don't know what kinda drunk I am honestly, but I guess if I get drunk I'll find out. Thanks for the read.

I just had a vision of a little animated glass of whiskey sitting on a stool at a bar heehee, bitter with honesty, the little alcohol based piece feels like the start of a great novel

Good drink can make us forget for a while. We must silver up. That can be the bad part. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
