A play on words

A play on words

A Poem by MandaBear
"

Just a fun thing i did with my friend jess. We took the quote by william blake "it is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend" and turned it into a poem. hope you enjoy it

"

It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.

Enemies can be fought but friends need to be won.

It's easier to find trouble than it is to find peace.

A friend will be with you until the end but an enemy with cause your end.

Don't be afraid to keep your friends close and your enemies closer because in the end your friend is the only one that has your back.

Enemies are like pawns in a game, you either get played or you die trying.

Friends are like grudges they like you for what you are but if you get them mad they hate you for what you have become.

So is it easier for you to forgive the enemy or harder to forgive your friend??

Very truthful words in this poem on friends and foes. Like Jesus says, you must love your enemy, nevertheless.

It's very effective poem and I highly like it. Friends and enemies are still human even though one is helpful and the other is destructive.
