NEVER

 

There’s nothing to be done

It will be like this forever

It’s a feeling that’s never gone

And lurking somewhere inside

 

Then you try to find your way

In such godforsaken place

Where no one seems to know

And there’s a fear of being late

 

Day or night is all the same

Never is there peace or sleep

It’s always inside and never gone

Even in the warmth of home

 

Maybe one day it is found

Day and night at peace again

In the warmth of home

It will be gone and never there
