CONFUSION

CONFUSION

A Poem by Nicola Farren

Going down this road

when there’s nowhere i should be.

Looking all around

when there’s nothing there to see.

Walking round in circles

leaving footprints with my hands.

Confusion it astounds me

and i do not understand.

Your poem reminds me of my aunt who has prosomatognosia. Such a frustrating condition to be always in a state of confusion. Your poem captures that frustration well.

Thank you I try hard to capture emotions or feelings in my work
This was a nice and yet shocking bit of a read. The reader is given an image of a person either lost in thought or emotion.
