A Show I Don't Want to Sell

A Show I Don't Want to Sell

A Poem by Taylor

Can I tell you a secret?
I think I'm in love with you.
Can you believe it?
I know I do.

I'm in love with your laugh,
And your tears.
My love is full, not a half.
I even love your fears.

I'm in love with your flaws,
And your perfections.
I'm in love with your fake laws,
And suggestions.

I fell for your voice,
And your eyes,
The way you make a choice,
Even your lies.

I don't hate anything about you.
I can't find anything wrong.
Nothing you say, nothing you do.
I hear your voice in every love song.

Your eyes hold some sort of sparkle,
And your smile could light the day.
I like how you are and aren't responsible,
And how you tend to always play.

I'm in love with good you do,
But I'm also in love with your dark side.
I'm in love with you!
And I'm praying one day we will collide.

Is it wrong to love you, if you do not know?
I wish I could tell,
But that would make a show,
I do not want to sell.

You've captured the ordinary things about a person and made them splendid!
This line made me smile: ' I'm in love with your fake laws, And suggestions.'
