How I miss you

How I miss you

A Poem by nocool

I miss you,

The dark skies stars hide behind clouds lonely dream

Life is tangled among what could have been
In any form my mind could dream

I miss you,
I fear not in the times of darkened skies

No moon need shine, no stars need to reflect from heavens eye
For there is no light that shines brighter than the memory of that from your eye

I miss you,
The smile that brings happy to a sad day
The grin I have when all you say is, “hey you”

I miss you,
The nights alone
the song from a soul
together yet alone

I close my eyes and dream to have you near,
Dread the days awake where I find you gone

Repetitions good and not overused. The sadness feels pervasive rather than acute. Very nice.
