Two Haiku

Two Haiku

A Poem by Nolo Segundo

Little wildflowers
of spring blanket my backyard
till the mower comes.

Reluctant leaves fall
from the old tree showering
an old man walking.

I've written quite a bit of haiku, and this couple is very nice. They're pleasant to be around. My one suggestion would be to drop "The" at the beginning of the first wildflowers line. It's an unimportant word, and your syllable count would be spot on.
