Hello

Hello

A Poem by Norma Gonzalez
"

A person just asking for a smile from anyone to bright up their day

"
A gloomy morning for a busy day
A tiring one if I may say
All last night was spent at work
What can you expect this upcoming day

On the trail back to work
No one glances at your way
A speck of dust is what they say
Therefore no hellos is said this day

A 'hello' does not hurt to say
So why so ignorant to display
A child from kinder won't glance your way
Because they were taught 'not to speak to strangers'
They may say

Grown to not say hello
It is strange to this day

But a glance at a new born
They will smile
And that smile is what says
'Hello'
And that is what makes my day

So, I must say to you, "Hello"... & now i`m sure, it'd have made your day more brighter than ever. (smile)
Keep it up. Finally, I read something from you and I literally enjoyed reading your words... would be looking forward to reading more from you!
