Life Is Here Again

I just love the season of Spring. love it love it

trees are adorned with buds
skies are a brilliant shade of blue
blossoms are revived with hue
birds have songs
life is here again
I almost thought that I would never see it anymore
it was the grey that had me convinced
that all of my world had been littered with grey
and preforated by that unyielding cold
nothing could tote such a lack of resplendence
but again this was all in my head
now the essence of all things lovely that drifts through the air
cannot be mistaken for that grey and the wretched cold
that shadows it
life is here again
now I can be happy
once more
