One way ticket

One way ticket

A Poem by nyi

The train is coming for the young fellows like us

Decorated with our dreams of desire and lust

And the companionship of woman as cheap as money can buy

Blinded by our craving, the guiltiness no longer thrusts on our conscience

To board the train, nights are long and days are short

Then the darkness will be shutting down the world outside

And we will be too long in bed with no sleeps

Without our complex romantic attachments

The train will always depart at our convenience

The seats are never filled and there always are more rooms

For these wicked emotions flow down inside us

Like a hurricane and we are carried away

But the longer on board, the further away from the solution

Of the problem so dire and it is like a disease that we all willingly share

And we cannot make an excuse to board this train

Out of the fact that romance is too chaotic to handle

Furthermore there won't be enough tickets for the return journey

If so we will be wanderers inside the wilderness for who knows how long

It takes gut to be a good person and a man at the same time

And we all need true love to be rescued from boarding this train
