Sitting on a throne

Clutching an apathetic crown

Within a circle of innocence

Made by careless words

Caught in whispers of defiance

Lost on deaf ears

Ignoring the pleas of the silent

Guilt and anger

Drowning childish laughter

Rendered of flesh and bone

Desperate to find
