I'm Not Lost

Now that I am a memory sent so far away

A reminder of what I was before

Dreaming sleeplessly on a bed of yesterdays

Counting the tolls for the path I take

They will make a man of the boy I am today

I grow ever colder though I burn my fire bright

Alone in the rain clouds that occupy my mind

I pray on every star I can find in my sky

Nothing ever changes and I know I'm the reason why

My heart was taken to a forgotten place

In peaceful slumber there it lays

Safely riding out this broken-hearted wave

Waiting for the day I can love again
