Tortured Soul

Tortured Soul

A Poem by BigBoyJohn
"

This is a poem i wrote back in middle school. I was goin through a pretty tough time.

"
Life goes toward the drain,
For me there is nothing left to gain.
Surrounded by black walls,
I wander down these lonely halls.
Dreaming of one single friend,
Wondering if this is my end.
A beautiful woman started running towards me,
Fear in her eyes i could see.
I welcomed her with open arms,
Showing I mean no harm.
We both had the same fear,
Neither wanted to be alone here.
Many wanted to change us,
But all we want is someone to trust.
We want to belong or fit in,
But no matter the effort we never win.
So we keep walking these halls,
Surrounded by black walls.
I sit in this hole,
I am nothing but another tortured soul.
