Begining with a magnificent red cardnel

flying by in the early winter days

 

Paint Me a Rainbow

Of the orange cardnel, the wife of the red

awaiting her husbands arrival

 

Paint Me a Rainbow

With yellow pollen falling from the spring plants

and an echoing sneeze

 

Paint Me a Rainbow

Showing the green leaves on the tree sway back and forth

catching the cool breezey air

 

Paint Me a Rainbow

Representing the long days of blue skies

with a shimmering sun brightening the sky even more

 

Paint Me a Rainbow

Whatching the petals of a purple lilac fall off in the surrounding pile of leaves

to sometime start gliding across the ground because of a silent gust of wind
