There is a place.

Where time stands still

Life exists.

But nothing is normal.

Yet, when is anything normal?

Nothing makes sense

Until you experience the world yourself.

A world where you fight, for your life.

Fight to remain free

Witnessing your friends and family die..

Being Immortal has it's down falls.

But being young

and Beautiful

Can be a wonderful thing

That is if you are willing to give up

The life you now possess

If offered the choice

To become Immortal

To live forever

would you?

This offer comes once in a life time

That is, only if you are found

As the ones they call

Nice intro, you seem to have a talent for pulling your readers into your story...judging by this one. I'm definitely adding this book to my library. I like the question you pose in this poem (and the fact that your prologue is a poem...I like doing that, too).

This was a really cool, original take on a prologue. Almost sounds as if it would be the narration over the trailer for a movie :D But I like it, the tone is edgy and really brings the reader in. Makes me wonder if this is the voice of our main character...
