Blind

Blind

A Poem by ColseJ

As I stand alone in this world, dark and ominous the light dies out

Slowly but surely the bright of life seeps away into the unknown,

No one that surrounds seems to care, nor seems to hear,

My call, my scream rings out clear to me, but to the ears of the deafened

It is muffled and silent.

I try and beg for help, but not a single soul obliges

There is no one here for me, there is no need for me to even be.

With no pain to me I drift away forever,

But me unknowing that I was loved, that lots cared,

I hurt all of them, a blow deep in the soul,

Only if I had seen their desperation to save

But it's too late, I was blind and all that was left is nothing.

This is a sad write about being alone and blind to love. Take heart. It's never to late to fill your life with love!
