1,2,3

A Poem by Mary Ochoa
"

Happened so quickly and great

"
1,2,3

I'm just a girl
Taking it day by day
Tea every morning
Working that flow
Controlling those
Feelings
Heat
Love
No time to slip
Pressing that speed button
Doing what I do best
Laughing at you
No one can seize me
Controlled
Every vessel
Every beat
But in
1,2,3
His voice became my new tune
New flow
The way he spoke my name
Sending my control out that door
How?
Why?
Who cares?
All I knew was
In 1,2,3
I wanted to be completely his

Nice use of numbers and thoughts. I liked how you led to the very good ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

someone arrives at your door, unannounced and unexpected. then your buying a mini van for
the kids...
