This describes everything that poetry is, and it is just that. You are correct when you say that we pour words and ourselves onto the page or whatever device we have at hand. It is a way of expression, a way to contemplate not only the past, but the present and the future. It can be a prophecy if we allow it. It can help us to heal and mostly, it can help us to make sense of all that we do not understand.

Yes yes...I think putting it on paper for whatever the reason makes it more real...solvable.. It is almost as if it releases it to allow it to leave or bodies grabbing onto something else. such a mystery in relief! Hugs Dee!
