Manners Cost Nothing. So why not use them?

Dipstick ... A useless person of inferior intellect.

How very rude!

Some people are so rude. Were have the normal everyday good manners and courtesy gone from this world?

It likes you rarely get anyone, holding a door open for you any more!

You are more likely to get one slammed in your face!

And as, for a simple “thank you”, and “No thank you”, forget it.

As well as it also does happen ironically the other way around too.

You hold a door open for someone they ignore you and stormtrooper thought it along with half a dozen people following on. With you still holding that damn open door for them all. And yet still no “thank you”.

For being considerate and nice to everyone. What a bad joke!

Or you're in a shopping queue at the local store and someone barged,  right in front of you. Thinking you are oblivious to their sneaky ways.

Oh, the joys of human beings. With bad manners and a vile attitude to boot.

Let alone some dipstick, selfish ways.

I am not saying everyone is like this. In life. Obviously Not!

Just a major proportion of society is! Wrapped up in their own self-worth.

For saying all that. This above will not stop me from being helpful and nice towards others!! And what goes around comes around and karma will kick them eventually in the butt!

Happens and happened with me mostly...like no matter how much try to give a smile and make the front person feel good...he/she will still remain with the over flowing attitude and rudeness...they don't get it I guess that we ain't dying to make them happy...we care to be cared as you said Karma....But yess not everyone is like that...still happy souls exists...and am happy for that...thanks for sharing Dee😊

When I was at primary school Dee, our motto was "manners maketh man". Good manners was really considered to be important. Not anymore. My husband offered his seat on a bus to a young woman recently, and she virtually told him to get stuffed. How's that for the manners of today? Sadly there has been a great decline in common courtesy, and I think that is a great pity. Your poem tells me that it's not just me that's noticed. Well done.

Not here in a South Korea. There’s only a few rude people but we are polite. It brings shame to the family name.

Yep, I don't tolerate rude. I manage 40-50 carpenters at any one time and will never tolerate rudeness. If it happens it's a case of " get your kit together and f**k off "

I really like when you hold a door for someone these days and they actually look at you like you are annoying them!!!! lol. Common courtesy and a smile does make for a better day, whether you are giving or receiving. Great job!!!
