Reality Smacks You In The Face.....

Reality smacks you in the face

and you see it

but you do not feel it

you try to acknowledge it

but you can not

as the safety switch

has been pulled

in your brain

and you close down

and run on autopilot

like a chicken with its head

chopped off.

That is still walking

around not realizing it's

missing a head.

Reality really can throw

you a blinder to where

you can not deal with it.

it fully before you can

come to terms with it all.

The shock and realization all

is

not wonderful or great.

Then maybe you can handle

it better and deal with life

better as you have become

more used to the shock and

awe of something bad.

No idea. But that is how I feel.
