How sad.....

It's strange

how you feel you

have to

protect yourself

in ways.

That to others

might think

are silly or stupid.

Like me

hiding behind

a nickname online?

And like other people

hide behind drink and drugs

or even sex or bulling

others?

So no-one finds out

the real person

behind those deeds.

As we are all

get scared

to some degree

of feeling insecure

and unsafe let

alone vulnerable.

As I did.

It's sad that we

as humans can

not always feel

we can be ourselves

in case others

judge us

or

belittle us

or

make fun of us.

or

hurt us

in general.

How sad that is

to feel the need

to hide like I did.

And have always said

None of us is

perfect.

No, way am I.

I'm so sorry that you feel as though you have to conceal your true identity. I can't imagine anyone here making disparaging comments on your works. I enjoy what you say, I just pray that you manage to find for yourself happier themes. You seem to be so disheartened and I'm sad for you.
