The power of Rain

The power of raindrops

the magic does produce

the affect of soothing rages

inside our hurting souls

the lifting of our spirit

and giving our hearts

feelings of being comforted

by touches of Gods gentle

hands upon our skin

as it pours

from the heavenly sky.

It's cleaning the earth

and lifting all the impurities

and dirty and grim from the atmosphere

It's  helping growth and nurture

the soil we use to grow food.

It's giving us a steady supply

of drinking water to

survive on.

It helps us bathe and wash

our clothing.

Rain is our saviour and salvation

it helps us survive.

Give thanks as I do.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This is exactly how rain makes me feel . . . too bad we never get rain anymore in central California! I miss rain! Your poem makes me long for it in a bad way. A nice piece
Our area, a rainforest, has had one minor rainfall in app 60 days.
The forests are bone dry, we desperately need rain but I'd like it better if it just rained at night
Go get wet!

There's a book where rain infects people and makes them kill other people. The book is by Richard Laymon. But, don't read Laymon because he kinda sucks.
