How lucky some people are to have loved ones who actually do care!

How lucky some people are to have loved ones who actually do care!

A Poem by Onlyme

Spare a thought for the poor soul
in a hospital and the elderly who
live alone this holiday season.

The children who are too ill to be
at home close to family and friends.

And the elderly. With no family
or good neighours. Who never
gets no visitors in this cold world.

And the homeless living on the
streets begging for food, water
and just to survive another day
alive.

As the snow comes down and the
cold winds blow.

Let alone the poor kids and teenagers
who are in the social care system in
children homes. With no foster parents
or anyone who will adopt them.

What a sad Christmas they will be having
with the care staff as their company.

While you are sitting in your nice warm home
opening your gifts and having fun with your
close family and friends.

How lucky some people are to have loved ones
who actually do care!
