Two worlds in One.

We all want to be loved

and to feel contented

with our lot.

To just,

be happy and healthy,

to  enjoy our day,

our life, our year,

as it comes along

each new brand new time.

But sadly

for some

in this Universe called earth.

It just does not happen

so easily as that.

Some are dealing with

distress, evilness, cruelty

at best.

As they struggle with

each new day

to just keep their heads

above the ledge of being

downright dead.

They wish for freedom,

some happiness and joy.

But just basic simple things.

That means so much to them.

Yet for others, this is "ten a penny"

"easy peasy". They get this every day.

Oh, how lucky they are,

yet they don't value these

gifts and treasures

so easily.  How sad.

Life just isn't fair Dawn, and people like us really can't do much to help those who are suffering abuse or hunger or just basic deprivation. All we can do is pray that the world leaders will find some empathy soon and make a difference.....
