Our Senses.

Our Senses.

A Poem by Onlyme

Your eyes are the windows to your soul.
It shows your deep emotions from within
out.

You can see the sadness and despair in
someone eyes.
Who is really in a dark place.
And just surviving another day on earth.

And the total opposite in
someone who is jubilant and joyous
with outstanding happiness.

As they have that bright glow
radiating from within their eyes out.

And it lights up the room. When you
look at them.

You can also see the rejection, hurt, pity
and other emotions, transcending from
your eyes and others.
Depending on yours and their moods.

I must admit,
I admire anyone who has no sight at all.
Or limited vision.
As they are beyond brave
to go out into the
big world. Alone or with the guide dog.

And be also active and productive and
achieve so much.

So I guess they understand fellow
human beings. Reling on their other senses to
pick up on other human emotions. They are
talking to. By the sound of their voices, pitch,
and if they are tapping their fingers, feet,
shuffling. Obviously, I don't fully know. Just
surmising. In my bad attempt and way.

Also, a six sense maybe too.
Does help them?

out with their other senses left, touch, taste, hearing
and smell. Outwith sight of course.

Dawn they do say if you lose one of the senses, the others work harder to compensate. The loss of sight is so isolating. I can't imagine how awful if would be to not see colour. Cwe take everything for granted. We should really learn to appreciate what we have been blessed with. Your lines made me stop and think.

Great people don't have all the senses. I believe people that used LSD. See too much. Maybe you are right. The senses keep us moving and thinking. People, who uses less of the senses. Increase the one's, they have. Wonderful words and thoughts shared dear Dawn.

Wow this one went in a direction I did not anticipate and certainly made me think about the senses and how we take them for granted.
