Crows get a bad reputation

in general.

Always being

associated with

the macabre.

And to me,

that is so sad.

They are intelligent and

far from thick.

Did you know that crows

never forget a human face.

So if you're a mean human

to a crow.

He will remember you

 and tell his mates.

That is a genuine fact.

So watch out.

You don't get yourself

attacked for

being a baddie to

a crow. 

They are also

exceptional

at problem-solving too.

Well crows in Hindi tradition are supposed to be the messengers of the dead ancestors and traditionally we have a custom to feed them which is equivalent to feeding our ancestors. So here we go, respect given to you, Mr Crow.

Though personally I have enemity with one of them with ruffled crazy hairdo!! It flew away with my tiny packet of milk only to realise that it was too heavy a robbery and dropped it down on ground to burst it up. It didn’t just let it go though, it still gives me a dirty look every now and then. It robbed me and now it hates me as well 😂

So I definately agree they never forget faces haha

had to bring this one up again Dawn, those nasty crows lol.... two are building a nest in the very tall tree outside my house, i know they don't like me because everytime i open my door and step out they fly around screaming at me ... and today i thought of you lol.

this poem is awesome.
crows are awesome. the smartest bird on the planet, maybe.
i once saw a video of a crow that couldn't break this nutshell open, so the bird flew up to an overpass and dropped the nut in the road. after a car came by and cracked it, the crow swooped in and had at it.
they're and evolutionary type smart and gifted...

lol, am soory but i am plagued with the damn things ... they used to attack my poor dog from 2 sides , she was terrified of them . There has been a battle of supremacy in the tall trees in my garden today between 2 crows and 3 magpies ... such noisy warfare lol

well those b* magpies also, they drag the baby sparrows out of their nests and kill them, it's awful when i have to pick up the dead babies from under the small conifers. i am big bird racist :)

I remember in our airvent we had a family of robins nesting in it. Eventually they flew away. Our cat couldn't get near them. So that was good. But you could hear the mother feeding them daily. Regards the magpies that is terrible what they do to the baby sparrows. I also love seeing the old fox in our garden. I remember one glorious summers day. It was in the garden for hours sunning itself. Like some woman in Ibiza. It made me smile.

I love foxes, and all one summer there was an ornamental one in the garden centre that i couldn't afford ... anyway one day they were all reduced so i treated myself. Now it lives in a cupboard in the house because the crows attack it in the garden would you believe !

Wow, I wonder if they think the fox is a predator to them. Even it not. It's like they are saying. I am getting you before you get me. See they smart crows. Even though they willn't let you put your ornamental fox out. Animals and birds really do have personalities.

i so wanted that fox in my garden but wherever i placed it they knocked it about and it was getting chipped ...if they are so clever why didn't they figure out it wasn't a areal one ?

Because they don't want to lull you into a fake sense of safety and also. Keep the real ones at bay. If they are watching when the fake one is around. Getting attacked. LOL
