Tis was not easy.

The dread decision

to have to put a

beloved pet to sleep.

Never sits easily

on anyone mind

or heart.

That happened

to a friend today

an elderly lady.

That lost all own cats

due to ill health or old age

over the years gone past.

And her only companion

was here beloved

deceased sisters

old pussycat.

But due to ill health

and old age.

She was now having to face

that ultimate final act to do

towards that said cat.

With compassionate words

and an understanding

soul and caring way from

both myself and her vet.

She knew in her heart that

time had come to let her go.

She had given her undying love

true friendship, time and loyalty

as well as a warm loving home

to Tibby.

That her own dear deceased

sister would have appreciated

and wanted for her pet herself

As well as knowing

her sibling  has done

all she could for her

furry companion that

once was hers.

So now dear little Tibby

has crossed over and

with her beloved sister Betty now.

Telling her all about her sister

and how she gave her such

a wonderful loving life.

I have been keeping an eye on here the last few days to make sure she is okay. But yes when you lose a loved one where be human or animal it does hurt. Dawn.

pets are family...and losing family as Jamal in Finding Forrester wrote...obliges us to find new family....
hopefully she will find a new kitty companion soon.

Thanks Jacob, iam hoping also she will get a nice little pet to keep her company was taking her around to look at a few cats and dogs in charity run shelters. But she not ready yet. But wanted to have a look in mean time.
