Worriment

Worriment

A Poem by Onlyme

A born worrier all my days.
I can't help but worry about
this and that and the next thing
that comes along.
The odd time if rare.
I do feel relaxed
and stress-free.
Something else comes
along and kicks me in the teeth
to make me distressed all over again.
Oh, the joys of life and living with it.
Try yoga, running, jogging.
A nice warm relaxing bath.
To take the mind of your woes.
Oh if life was just that simple.
I could just switch my brain off
and back on again.
When the time's suits.

Wow!
This is a powerful piece of writing.
Worry seems to be inevitable in life.
If one thing doesn't make you worry, another would.
It's part of life and all we could do is to know how to manage it.
Trying yoga as you've said, jogging, going to the cinema, playing games and hanging around with friend for those who are interest in that.

And your imagination of switching off the brain is amazing but not yet found as what human being can execute.

Well written, Dawn.
