There is a thing that nothing is, and yet it has a name.
It's something tall and something short.
Uninvited it joins our sports, and plays at every game.
It follows and leads, but only as you pass.
What is it?

With no wings, I fly.
With no eyes, I see.
With no arms, I climb.
More frightening than any beast, stronger than any foe.
I am cunning, ruthless, and tall.
And in the end, I rule all.
What am I?
