Little hurt

Little hurt

A Poem by oursong2

Grew up in the cold

No heat in sight

Looking for a beam

To cast a little light

Trudging through the pool

Of this thing called life

Dragging me down

Like a windless kite

Staying afloat

With the hope that grew

Deep in my body

No matter how bruised

Simply stepping

One foot ahead

The other in front

Just to stay from dead

Little easy thoughts

Up in my mind

Thinking of the hurt

As a yielding sign

I wait my turn

Then I pass on through

To hide a little sadness

Feel something true
