Angels Never Die

Angels Never Die

A Poem by Georgia

Leave
But you didn't leave
Go
But you didn't go
Fall
I am falling down
While flying up to you

Goodbye
But you didn't say it
Love
I still need to feel it
Hands
Holding my own hands
When you flew up to the sky

Wake up from your sleep
Come back down to Earth and see me
I heard that talk is cheap
But I will make you proud
Come to me in my dreams
Comfort me and hold my soul
You are still here it seems
Forever in my heart

Angel
But I cannot see you
Heaven
But I cannot prove it's real
Live
But I can't keep living
If you are not here with me

Warmth
But every where’s cold
Shine
But my world is darkened
Speak
But your voice I cannot hear
Only in echoes of my memory

Fly your way through the stars
Save me a place when I join you
Send a signal to my heart
To let me know you are there
Sit beside me and hold me
Let your radiance gleam in the light
I'll feel your wings wrapped around me
Then you'll dance with the angels tonight

I'll never have to say goodbye
You'll live on for angels never die
