Always unique ! And a great metaphor, loved the bubbles and the finches riding to the top of….. the sun God; you are so clever; can I borrow some???
Lovely, B🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
I was intrigued by the title; the two words did not, in my mind, go together. Then I read your poem. How very interesting, and brilliant using Ra. And comparing the rise of the finches to champagne bubbles was also great. Really a wonderful poem. It’s going into my Favorites library. I confess I had to use the internet to refresh my memory on which god Ra was/is. I am definitely going to keep reading your work.

What a delightful description of a spring morning. It almost made me forget myself and dare to dream of wearing only six layers instead of the usual 8! (God, I need a holiday!)

Thank you Lorry! You made me smile ;) It was a beautiful sight.
Love the reference to the sun god.
Those lucky finches...we are all finches trying to reach some god in the sky.
So much said in few words.
Nice to see you around again, Patricia. Have missed your writing.
