Love of the Storm

Love of the Storm

A Poem by K. Carver

the destruction
families broken
houses stolen
homes demolished

towns destroyed

the families torn apart by winds and rain
the houses stolen by the clouds
homes demolished by sky trains
and all of this, destruction

it is but one thing to sit and cry about your own problems
but look around you.
so many have nothing.

not always do rainbows come after the storm.

A powerful poem with a good message. Some people can't find their way back to norm after a storm and Natural disaster. Look at poor New Orleans. Great description made your words come alive. A strong ending to a excellent poem.

Yes. Well. Not much to tell, so not much to read. I write poems, mostly. I'm breathing with life. I don't believe that I'm quite successful at either. I do ask one request of anyone who may read this:.. more..
