Save Me From This Place
By Paige Rochester
Does it really matter anymore?
I wander through aimlessly
My eyes are open, but am I really seeing?
Save me from this place

I'm all alone, no one to have, no one to hold
Though I try to be by people's side
I am not wanted by anyone
Save me from this place

Why am I here when I have no purpose
They tell me it'll be okay
They make me take medication, saying it'll help
Save me from this place

Why do I even bother
Everyone lies
No one cares
Save me from this place

Take me away
I want to be happy
Find a way for me to rest from this feeling
Save me from this place
