Forlornness

Forlornness

A Poem by Patch Silver

narcotic,

as manic I may (pessimistic) be

harakiri,

      your pedagogy (pantomime) aplomb

             (caustic) am I? I masticate?

is there no remorse for my transgressions?

my pogrom peeler,

         ventricle (slaughter) falter

                     enamored (over) you

                                this calamity brought ruin.

      your pedagogy (pantomime) aplomb

                                     you loved me here

            and refuse to bury me?

                 my love for you persist

  you loved me here

                 you lope?

this pulchritude you are

                           vacate (a rapture) on me

      abducted my (nurse) heart

        your pedagogy (pantomime) aplomb

   disposition (apathetic) perishes

                            I no longer breathe

   foundered with (love) you

You're so creative! I love it. This is so unique and so poetic. I like the parenthesis spread through out, I've also experimented with such things, and I use brackets too even though I know they dont belong. I just like creating almost an image with the words, this poem is like a snake, slithering slowly down the page. Stopping and going in cautiousness.
Your vocabulary is great in this piece as well. I really appreciate what you've written here. Nice work

This is interesting, and I like it. I've never read anything like it, and I feel I need to read it a couple times before I even begin to get the full meaning of it.
