Everlasting Pain

And so the days go on

Every minute, another bomb in her heart

The fluctuating pain

Numbing every sense she has

But the tears are no longer shed

She’s passed that state of hurt

Past all the loneliness

She knows no one cares
She’s realized her place in the crowd

You can’t miss her though

She’s the one, knees to her jaw

Hair shielding her face, her eyes

Those eyes, equivalent to an ocean of sorrow

But she dare not make a sound

For if she does,

The realization of reality

Will knock her into a state of shock
