Your eyes whisper secrets you will never say aloud.

Your arms bring with them security so that I am forever bound,

to you and to this love so true.

Which leads me to a favor from you.

I want a kiss in the rain, you decide how.

Make is simple or make is cliche,

either way, it will be a sentimental day.

Kiss me in the rain.

To wash away the hurt and pain.

To erase everything, making it new and pure.

Then with your support I will endure

until we are free to start on our own

a life of fairytales not written in stone.

What makes us different is what sets us apart

from all the questions that were raised in the start.

My wish I have kept silent up until now.

All for one reason; go on and take a bow,

because you are my perfect one, my other half in this world so mundane.

this is kinda different from your earlier writing but its to be expected. I dont know what cliche means but being kissed in the rain is very romantic. I still havent done this but now I want to try it out. I hope it feels as great as you described it.

I love the title to this poem. Being kissed in the rain is very romantic indeed. I was fortunate enough to experience this once in my life and that memory will reside in my heart & mind forever. For some reason this piece reminded me of the movie "The Notebook", have you seen it? It's a great movie, and this is a great write!
