Senryu: What is death?

A poem that purports to say that death is only ever just a part of life. Life is not a part of death.

Senryu: Death

Death lives not itself.

Death dies not itself either.

What is death, but life?

Death is uncertain not just when is come in but also what will follow. There is so many theories from ancient monolithic religion until more sophisticated philosophy. I am personally afraid I will be not me anymore after my death.

What is now, in some ways can never be lost. Things just change form. For me, I will be glad to move on from this old form. Who would want to be me, anymore, certainly not me.

We are not really who we think that we are anyway, I think.

If there is life after death, there must be some part of us, in there now too, that we go back too.

So we are not the full deal of who we think that we are here now anyway.

I agree with you some of us essence can be preserve . Also it will be something much different then what we experienced right now. My another fear is how this transition will be painful and how i will react to it. Also i wish to see again my loved ones . Even i am person who prefer to be alone. I am glad to feel humans around me. I remember on one dream what i had like 5 years ago. I met with some of my death relatives at some old house . It's felt very peaceful. I wish this dream will come a true .

I have always preferred to just move on.

I have little interest in meeting again those that I have already met here.

If, I did, it would drag me backwards, to what they thought that I was.

I want to go on without any of these past attachments.

Yes. I think that life is actually in our soul, which lives forever, and our body borrows life from our soul to live a life with for a while too. But the body is just material, and its form will dissapear over time. We then go back to our soul, and it perhaps then creates another lifeform for us to live it then too.
