Dylan's Perspective

A Poem by Penulis Kecil

Writing about emotions, a support worker mentioned that the pet store makes his "wallet sore" - I got carried away into this silly little piece.

Thursday again and my tired feet drag:
today has meaning I can't ignore.
We're headed again to that damn place,
your favourite place, the bloody pet store.

We'll go right in and you'll stare away,
those sad blue eyes will beg and plead;
I know I'll end up saying yes,
although it makes my poor wallet bleed!

Ha! i was there yesterday, they were selling iams with turkey but they were small pieces not large so i left it our dog just had her birthday and my husband booked a mobile grooming parlour to come around. They plugged into our electric and gave her a wash and blow dry, cut her claws and brushed her teeth. Then my husband proceeded to cook her a steak (he is so soft about her!). thank you for making me smile!
