One

One

A Poem by Persephone

One night

That’s all I wanted

You tell me “not this one”

One kiss

From your lips

You say “not now”

One touch

From your hand

You state “maybe next time”

I ask for one thing

From you

You walk out the door

You are welcome.:)
Ooch. Talk about being repulsive. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Great illustration of how an attraction to someone can sometimes become an emotionally painful experience. Nice job. :)
