Phantom In My Chucks...

There is no pain

No sorrow

Just a cold numbness

I am left in this hollow shell of my former self

A phantom in my Chucks

And I remember

How it felt

When the blade pierced my skin

My hands trembled as I let it fall to my feet

I watched as it hit the toe of my Chuck 

And settled down

Shedding a little blood 

Then, I too, fell in a crumpled heap on the floor

And let the tears fall

And now I am

A phantom in my Chucks
