music nowadays

idk is it just me? i feel that music back then was better than music now. there was a sense of enjoyment in the creation of it before. now it seems...so corporate.

i feel that music has lost its beat, no longer do i move my feet.

depressing it is to realize this. the same old sound from different hands.

its become clockwork rather than talent, business rather than passion.

taken over by the need to succeed rather than the need to please.

my ears bleed to these robotic lyrics, no meaning or feeling in the writing.

tell me this is a brief phase because i'm sick of hearing "drop the bass"

there is no soul in today's music,its all about image, money, and sex... that's not to say there aren't still great artists out there doin great things, because there are...but they don't get promoted
