One More Time

A little piece I wrote about fifteen years ago. All about thinking life is good yet messing up again one more time...

Thought I was done
And thought the battle won
But as time raged on
I grew a grateful bond

To the things of the past
Oh, it seemed too vast
To think of some more
Cause I thought my mind poor

Of the thoughts that helped
To create the thoughts to sell
Myself on the idea of
The sanity of true faithful love.
