Shame

How could you be so selfish
How did you let your pride overtake
All you saw was darkness
You could not see the light
Why did you think you were not good enough to save
Why did you not reach out
Why did you feel shame
You took your life to end your pain
But you failed to realize you left it for others to obtain
Why did you have to do this
Why didn't you show your pain
All you saw was darkness even on the brightest day
