let me go, don't leave

let me go, don't leave

A Poem by solsystemtillnervsystem

I've never hated anyone quite as much
as I hate you when we're apart.
You make me want to tear the world
into shreds lost in the inside out.
And then I see you,
and it's like dawn has come
to kiss the sleeping world good morning
and I become yours and yours and yours again.
I asked aloud why would she love him so, with all her doubts and fears
but now I think I understand.
Seeing you is rain after a long summer
fresh and clean and clear
and not seeing you is constant sun
hot and dry and burning.

Come to me.
I will forgive you until I die.
